Ever since I was 11, everyday I've worked really hard to be in a successful band.
I started off singing in the choir and playing the violin and piano at St. Pirans School in Maidenhead. As soon as went to secondary school atr Desborough I joined my brothers band Wicked Lester playing drums. Joining the band changed my outlook and at my first gig at Desborugh School in 1991I realised what I was destined to do, I absolutley loved it like nothing else, it was liking scoring a goal every song. In 1992 I started Young & Wasted with Mike Bennett, Greg Strutton & Kev Joyce. In 1993 I was asked to join Hayes hard rockers WITNESS who rampaged the pub scene with heavy guitars and my double drum kit!! The amusing thing was that most of the band members were twice my age! In 1994 I went on to form 1% in 1994 as the frontman with my school friends Liam McGlinchy, Greg Strutton & Kevin Joyce (now in the band). We had great potential & were one of the last bands to get asked to play The Old Trout, Windsor.

A year later, I got together with my brother Martyn and Johnny Daymond to take over COBWEB STRANGE.  James (JB) Bentley joined on bass and Cobweb Strange toured the country on a relentless haze of dirty rock 'n roll and partying. After 2 years and enjoying much success the band split up as I wanted to front my own band and the vision of THE FIRST CLASS band began. Martyn, Mike and my Dad (Martyn)were the original members of First Class. Since 1999, the band has slowly progressed and enjoyed much success worldwide.

In 2008 I became involved with MD /producer and top session player Phil Taylor from
The Satellites and we started recording my second solo album. The album should be finished sometime in 2009. In 2009 I formed another band ZOOTS with Stu Turner, Nick Slack and Kevin Joyce initially for a 1960's show at Butlins although the band are now embarking on wide range of private events. In 2010 Jamie & the first class and Zoots merged to form a formidable line up ready to take on the world, so watch out!
